I’m Kim Flum.

About Me
I’m a strategic marketing consultant and expert in integrated marketing communications with 20+ years of experience helping brands connect strategy, creativity, and data. I’ve worked on both the client and agency sides, building and optimizing campaigns that drive measurable results and crafting communications that engage and delight audiences.
I’m equal parts strategist and creative—the left brain loves data, the right brain loves storytelling. I use both to design programs that I continuously refine for better performance. I love blending analytical thinking with creative problem-solving to create marketing that works (and keeps improving). My approach is simple: make it work, then make it better.
I hold MBAs in Marketing and Management from CSUN, where I also explored entrepreneurship, leadership, change management, mindfulness, and sustainability. I focus on systems thinking and excel at spotting opportunities for improvement—especially where small changes can make a big impact.
I bring a unique balance of big-picture strategy and hands-on execution—connecting insight and imagination to deliver smart marketing that keeps getting better. Fun fact: If you search “expert in integrated marketing communications,” you’ll find me. Not saying I own the term—just that good strategy gets results. 😉

What I do.
Creative Services
I design the core pieces your business needs to look sharp and stay consistent. Everyday visuals that are anything but ordinary and that feel like you across web, social, and print. Clear, simple design that’s customer-focused and results oriented.
Digital Marketing
I make digital marketing work—search, social, email and web—so you’re reaching the right people regularly. I set clear goals, keep an eye on budget and adjust anything that’s not performing with straightforward reporting so you always know what’s paying off.
Content Strategy
I help you decide what to say, where to say it and how often. I align voice and topics, build an easy content calendar and set a simple process your team can actually follow. The result: useful content that feels human and stays on track.
Collateral Development
I turn complex information into easy-to-skim brochures, one-pagers, decks, and case studies. Plain language, helpful visuals, and structure that guides decisions. Your team gets tools they’re proud to share—and that make selling easier.
Marketing Strategy
I help you pinpoint your audience and understand what they care about. Then I turn that insight into a plan with clear priorities, timelines, and success measures. No jargon—just a practical roadmap to reach the right people with the right message.
Direct Marketing
I create email and mail campaigns that feel personal and give people a clear next step. With clean lists, thoughtful offers, and quick tests to see what works best, I help you understand what’s performing and where to improve.
Advertising
I develop strong, simple concepts and place them where your audience will actually see them. Clear messages, clean creative, and metrics that help you learn and improve each round. The goal: attention that leads to action—not noise.
Making it work.

Content Marketing
I run integrated marketing communications with a simple goal: helping brands get found, understood, and chosen. My work combines strategy, creative execution, and continuous improvement. I look for missed opportunities—gaps in messaging, weak touchpoints, underused channels—and turn them into quick wins and long-term gains. The result is a steady, repeatable system that builds momentum over time.
My process starts with consultation and analysis. I review what’s been done—campaigns, content, brand materials, media, analytics, budgets—and what competitors are doing. Then I separate what’s working from what’s not, set clear priorities, and map out where your marketing efforts (and dollars) will have the most impact. You’ll get a focused plan with timelines, owners, and success measures so everyone knows exactly what to do next.
Day to day, I bring together the core pieces: advertising, content, digital, and collateral — all tied together by clear, consistent messaging. SEO and SEM help people find you; content and social communicate your value; print, events, and sales tools reinforce it. Every channel supports the others — search informs content, content fuels social, social drives demand, and in-person touchpoints close the loop. Clean execution, consistent voice, and simple reporting keep the whole system aligned.
I’ve led programs across a wide range of industries—including automotive, enthusiast sports, racing and gaming, e-commerce, finance and insurance, and the public and nonprofit sectors—with the same approach: understand the audience, clarify the offer, meet people where they are, and make the next step obvious. I translate complex products and services into clear, persuasive communications that move people to act—online or off.
Everything I do runs on a “virtuous cycle” of continuous improvement. Launch, measure, learn, refine — then do it again. I test headlines, offers, creative, and channels; fix friction in funnels; and shift resources toward what performs best. Over time, that discipline compounds results. It’s integrated marketing that builds trust, earns attention, and delivers growth.
